Week One- 7 Habits of Successful PLC Students

Task One:
In which of these areas do you need to make the most improvement to become a more successful student?
I need the most improvement on #7 , which is realizeing the importance of communication. Learning to write well, speak well, and be aware of the message you send when you are not speaking. I can improve on these tasks by expanding my vocabulary and getting feedback on the message i send out. I can expand my vocabulary by reading more and studying harder, and I can get feedback from people I interview with and just people I meet in general.
Task Two:
Come up with one or two more habits you believe positive students have. Explain why you think your additions to this list would be important for every student at Classic City High School. Some other tasks, or habits students might try to get into could be being patient and waiting for directions and maybe just being more careful in general. I believe that these can be helpful habits because usually students want to rush and get through with all their work so that they have nothing to do. I know this from experience, I'm a teenager. When we do this, we never wait for instructions and we end up not reading our directions carefully. So, we end up having a poor performance grade and our overall assignments suck. If we practice being more careful and study harder, our projects, papers, even little classwork assignments would be easier to finish and would be of much higher quality.
